Our Spaces

The Barn

The barn is a big old rustic blank canvas for you to work your magic on! It was given a makeover during winter 2014, including insulation, partial lining with wood and straw bales (to add to the exposed stone), and lots of controllable lighting. It’s a fantastic space for you to decorate as you wish. Or go for the simple 'as it comes' look. We have seen some really beautiful set ups - it is amazing what some greenery, tea lights and a few more straw bales can do!

Many people use the barn for a meal and a shindig. It can also be used as a wet-weather location for your ceremony.

The Cow Shed

The Cowshed is perfect as an indoor ceremony option for up to 100 guests with lovely natural light, later on it's a lovely cosy drinks reception area, with space for your guest book, a tea and coffee station, some live music to get everyone shaking those hips already!

We've got a collection of super comfy sofas and not to forget the amazing flower cloud that Tomnaha designed and grew right here on site, we are so lucky to have it as a permanent feature.

The Cow shed is also a place for you to use if you want to have a small wedding for maybe 50 people or less, it can be used as the ceremony space if raining (what, it never rains in Scotland!), dining space and then the ceremony space can double up as a dancefloor later on.

Courtyard

Our courtyard offers a stunning outdoor ceremony space with picturesque hills as a backdrop. This versatile area can accommodate up to 200 guests and also provides ample room for food trucks. As the day turns into night, the courtyard transforms into a magical evening space, with twinkling fairy lights and gatherings under the fire pit.

A couple in wedding attire embraces and kisses outdoors at dusk, surrounded by string lights and a stone building with a white door in the background.

The Great Outdoors

Start your special day with a ceremony in our enchanting woodland, or shoot your wedding pictures in beautiful hillside meadows. To hold your ceremony in the woods, you’ll need to rope in a few friends to help transport chairs and equipment to the space in the morning. Our guests love a woodland wedding walk accompanied by a wheelbarrow of drinks for a toast in the woods!
