The Steading

The Steading is the largest area at our Eco-Lodge, sleeping up to 48 people. It is warm and spacious with rustic features throughout. All bedrooms are private with ensuites and include doubles, twins, family rooms and large (6-bed) rooms. The Steading’s communal areas include a spacious self-catering kitchen, comfy living spaces, dining areas and the Courtyard with its stone flagged barbeque area and central fire pit.

A cozy bedroom with a green wall and natural wood accents, featuring a double bed with white linens and a yellow pillow, a window with wooden shutters, a potted plant, and a colorful rug on hardwood floors.

The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse underwent a complete refurbishment this year and now offers the Croft's poshest accommodation while retaining its character as a cosy Scottish Farmhouse. Here's a wee video preview.

The Farmhouse is the perfect base for a cosy country retreat. Downstairs there is a comfy dining-kitchen with a wood-burning stove, the Snug library for book swaps, board games and a big TV for movie nights, and a sunny private garden with lovely views of the hills—perfect perfect for alfresco dining in fine weather or a wee campfire in the evening.

A cozy corner with a wood stove set inside a stone fireplace, framed by three abstract landscape paintings with dark mountains and pink sky, a green potted plant, a wicker chair with a white fluffy pillow, and a woven rug.

Love Where You Stay

We take great care to minimise any impacts on the environment: the lower shower block lighting runs from wind and solar power, while the upper block - the one with a turf roof - is completely off-grid. We are a bit obsessed with reusing and recycling. Please do your bit by separating your recyclables (nearly everything!) rather than dumping bags of mixed materials in the general waste bin. Remember - it only becomes waste if we don't separate and recycle it!
