Jobs at Comrie Croft

Sustainable Weddings & Events Coordinator
(Part-time)

Do you love event organising, bringing people together and making the world a better place?

Comrie Croft is Scotland’s award-winning sustainable venue bringing people and nature together. We’re home to a lively bunch of twelve nature-based micro-enterprises offering good food, outdoor adventures, learning experiences and beautiful, relaxed weddings.

A Croft DIY wedding is all about warmth, creativity, and connection. Think rustic barns, open courtyards, cosy farmstead accommodation, wildflower meadows, and the freedom to make the day truly personal—guided by a friendly, down-to-earth coordinator who’s there to help along the way.

We’re now looking for two part-time Sustainable Weddings Coordinators, working within a lovely team of three. Your mission: To assist couples to have the best possible start to married life together - full of love, laughter and purpose, while helping us make a positive difference to our environment and community.

What you’ll be doing

  • Helping develop the positive social and environmental impact of weddings

  • Offering genuine communication with couples, families and suppliers – through emails, phone calls, social media and in person

  • Being there on wedding days and evenings to help make sure everything runs smoothly (we don’t organise the weddings but are there to help in any way)

  • Attracting new couples for whom Comrie Croft is a good fit through social media, publicity, collaboration, word-of-mouth and more

  • Showing off the venue and excellent local suppliers through tours and open day events

  • Wedding admin - bookings, contracts, invoicing, payments - with care and attention to detail

  • Rolling up your sleeves when needed to support wider Croft events—like community markets, bike races, or other magical team moments where everyone pitches in to make great things happen!

You’ll be great for this role if you are

  • A true people person—warm, approachable, and kind.

  • A brilliant communicator who enjoys making others feel heard and supported.

  • Super organised, resourceful, and calm under pressure.

  • Someone who takes pride in getting the details right.

  • Passionate about sustainability and community.

  • Happy juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities in a lively environment.

  • A proactive problem-solver who spots what needs doing and just gets it done.

  • Social media savvy and confident with admin tools.

  • In tune with Comrie Croft’s values of care for people, place, and planet.

Bonus skills (lovely but not essential)

  • Creative flair—copywriting, photography, video, design, or digital storytelling.

  • An eye for marketing or communications.

  • Entrepreneurial or business skills (analysis, spreadsheets, etc.).

  • Any other talents or passions that could add to life at the Croft.

Hours and flexibility

16–24 hours per week (to be agreed).

Flexibility is key—weddings usually happen at weekends, so you’ll work up to one weekend in two.

Some wedding days will mean later finishes (around 8pm, sometimes after midnight).

What are the benefits?

  • Competitive salary

  • 35 days annual paid leave (pro rata for p/t)

  • Other perks (such as farm shop and bike shop discounts)

  • Optional company pension scheme

  • Profit share bonus

  • The joy of helping couples create meaningful commitments and celebrations that also do good for people and planet

  • Working in one of Scotland’s most beautiful spots, alongside a welcoming, supportive team
