happy weddingsIf you would like your wedding to be of your own design and with your guests staying with you at the beautiful, informal surroundings of Comrie Croft, then we may be able to help. Costs are likely to be much lower than a hotel. We provide the flexible, self-catering venue with some added extras - but we are not wedding planners, so you can organise other things like the catering, decoration, etc. the way you'd like them. The barn is a great space for having a wedding meal (previous weddings have seated up to 150) and also for a barn dance, (up to 200) and looks fantastic when it's decorated. The Croft is fully licensed to hold civil marriages and we welcome religious ceremonies. Two of the Crofters - Andrew and Malize - got married outside here by their church minister in 2006. The meeting room has been used for wedding ceremonies in the past, but you could hold the ceremony on the land round about if the weather is good for an outdoor ceremony. The meeting room has also been used for meals and also ceilidhs for smaller weddings. We try to ensure Comrie Croft is very good value. If you'd like to reduce the costs even further many couples ask their guests to pay for their room or bed at the Croft - just ask us for details on how this works. So that your wedding has plenty of privacy we offer an number of exclusive use options so that you won't be disturbed (or disturb others): 1. Winter wedding - 2 nights £2,300 (Sun-Thu nights) or £2,900 (incl. a Fri and/or Sat night). This is our best value option. Available Nov - Mar, excluding Christmas and New Year. Includes:
2. Summer wedding - 2 nights £2,600 (Sun-Thu nights) or £3,300 (incl. a Fri and/or Sat night). Available Apr - Oct. Includes:
Extras For a Summer Wedding: if you would like to include all the remaining accommodation at Comrie Croft (i.e. four katas and 22/24 camping pitches (for up to 66/72 guests) which are not included in the packages outlined above), the extra cost on top of the package price would be £1896/£1488 for weekend/weekday weddings. For a Winter Wedding: the katas are available year round and the remaining four katas can be added at £120 each for a weekend and £50 each for a single weekday. Or you are welcome to add individual camping pitches or Swedish katas at standard rates. We also have accommodation at Combruith in Comrie which is 2 miles from the Croft which could be added. Combruith sleeps up to 46. Firewood can be purchased at £5/sack. Noise Policy We encourage people to have a good time here at Comrie Croft, but we do have a noise policy in place which in the main is about being considerate to others who may be staying in our campsite. No amplified music is permitted outside, in the barn or in the meeting room after 11 pm. This can be extended to midnight if all accommodation is included. No amplified music at all or noise outside at Combruith after 10 pm. Check-out Check-out time for all bedrooms and bathrooms is 10.30 am. You're very welcome to use the kitchen and sitting rooms until 1 pm. We like to ask all guests to try and leave the place as you find it, to help keep the place looking ship-shape!
