We are so happy to be welcoming you to the Croft again. But the virus has not gone away. We take our responsibilities to reduce the risks to you, our team and our community seriously and we ask you to do the same.

Here are some of the measures we've put in place:

  • A comprehensive CV-19 risk assessment done jointly with a health and safety professional.
  • Following, or where possible exceeding, the standards laid out in government guidance.
  • New cleaning and disinfection protocols including staff training and fogging of nordic katas, toilets and showers, rooms and other areas with disinfectant.
  • Booking of private hostel kitchen time slots, together with enhanced cleaning and disinfection.
  • Provision of disinfectant wipes/hand sanitiser/spray at toilets and other contact points.
  • Remote check-in and payment procedures.
  • Reduced shop opening hours, protective screens, staff wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Social distancing and good hygiene reminders.
  • Hire bikes and helmets disinfected after every use.

And here are the things you can do to keep everyone safe:

  • Don't come if you have any CV-19 symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who is displaying symptoms. We will provide a full refund if this happens to you.
  • Pitch tents a minimum of 6m from other tents.
  • Practise regular hand washing/sanitising and good social distancing (2m minimum).
  • Wear a face-covering if you are going into the shop and pay for anything you buy using contactless payment.
