Will my tent fit?

Birch Woodland pitches are able to take tents with a maximum footprint of 3.5m x 3.5m (excluding guy ropes).  This is generally a single roomed four man sized tent.  Tents bigger than this will be asked to move.

Meadow pitches can take tents of all sizes.  If you plan to have a gazebo too please check with us first.

Can I bring my dog?

Well behaved & quiet dogs on a lead are very welcome. There are lots of nice walks to take them on and interesting smells to sniff.

In the private rooms (not shared rooms):

  • Dogs can stay in ground floor rooms and public areas except the kitchen. Please let us know you are bringing a dog at time of booking.
  • £10 charge per dog per stay
  • Dogs not to be left in the room alone
  • Dogs not allowed on beds
  • 2 dogs per room max
  • All doggie business to be bagged and binned (even away up in the woods!)

In nordic katas:

  • £10 per dog per stay
  • Dogs not allowed on the bed
  • Dogs not to be left in the kata alone
  • 2 dogs max per kata
  • All doggies business to be bagged and binned

If you are camping with your own tent:

  • No charge
  • All doggie business to be bagged and binned (even away up in the woods!)
  • 2 dogs per pitch max

We really appreciate your help in these things so that we keep the Croft a doggie and people friendly place.
