Accommodation

  • Clean, simple, modern accommodation in a rustic setting
  • Two self-contained buildings: the Lodge (sleeps 56, room plan) and the Farmhouse (sleeps 16)
  • Lodge: 6 private ensuite rooms with pine furnishings and bunkbeds for 2, 4 or 6 (double room now available) plus 5 standard dorm rooms with bunkbeds for 4, 6 or 8
  • Farmhouse: 2 standard dorm rooms with bunkbeds for 6 or 8 plus a double or twin. In 2008 the 6-bed room will become a family room with a double plus single bunk over it, and 2 bunks (sleeps up to 5).
  • Quality sprung beds with full bed linen and individual reading lights (please bring your own towel)
  • Spacious, well equipped kitchen including ovens/hobs, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, freezer, etc.
  • Cosy lounge with sofas, TV and video
  • Pinewood furnished dining area with a view of the hills
  • Central heating and lots of powerful, always hot showers

Breakfast

  • £2.50 per person
  • 'Self-service continental' consisting of croissants/butteries/bagels from the local bakers (we freeze them fresh so you just need to pop them in the oven), jam, choice of cereals, milk, fruit juice, tea, coffee or hot chocolate, etc.
  • Collect from reception any time from 8am onwards.

Bike hire and fishing

  • Mountain bike hire.
  • Fishing permit available. Max. two people fishing at any time. Fly only. Season: April - September
  • Fishing equipment hire

Courtyard

  • South facing courtyard with picnic tables
  • Barbeques for hire, £5 including up to one bag of charcoal

On the Estate

  • Marked walking trails and scenic viewpoint
  • Mountain bike routes
  • Braincroft loch for fishing or swimming

Disabled/wheelchair access

  • Rooms 1, 2 and 3 accessible to disabled and with wheelchair accessible WC and shower. See floor plan
  • Ground floor accessible to wheelchair (kitchen access requires a short outside detour)
  • Meeting room and games room fully wheelchair accessible and with disabled WC
