A great way to get out...

The Explorer is a fantastic hop-on hop-off bus service that connects with the Croft 8 times a day, 3/4 days a week in season. It runs on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday and in July and August also on a Saturday. The bus goes around the Ring of Breadalbane - a circular trip through spectacular scenery. But it is also so much more:

  • Get to local attractions such as Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre or the Scottish Crannog Centre.
  • Access to linear walks and cycle runs such as the fantastic Glen Ogle Viaduct Trail (6 miles downhill!).
  • The Explorer will carry up to 8 bikes for free (24hr advance booking recommended).
  • Visit beautiful pubs and distilleries, have a drink, then let the bus get you back to base.

You can simply pay standard bus fares for a short journey or purchase an all-day hop-on hop-off ticket for £10 an adult with great deals for families. If you are lucky enough to have your Scottish pensioners bus pass then you can travel free of charge!
